Extra soft and chewy flapjacks. A traditional Britsh cookie of oatmeal and maple syrup. Only 4 ingredients and simple to make. Get the kids to help! Yum!
First, gather the 4 ingredients together.
Soften the butter. Room temperature is fine but if you can melt the butter this will be even better.
Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C Fan / 400F.
Add the ingredients to a food processor.
Pulse blend just until the ingredients have mixed together.
Use some extra butter to grease a 20cm x 20cm or equivalent baking tray.
Tip the oatmeal mixture into the baking tray.
Spread the oatmeal mixture to fill the baking tray and press down with a spoon.
Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Once baked remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into 9 biscuits.
Eat when ready or keep in a sealed container for up to 5 days. Yum!
